Manual

Condensate-Free Operation: Unlike traditional refrigerant dehumidifiers, this desiccant dehumidifier doesn’t produce condensate water, which can be beneficial in certain applications where water removal isn’t desired such as in freezing conditions..

Moisture Venting: Moisture is vented away from the machine, eliminating the need for collecting or disposing of condensate water.

DRYFAN® means it can operate in any orientation, even upside down

Voltage Options: Available in both 110V/60Hz North American and 220V/50Hz Rest of World (RoW) versions, with interchangeable plugs using the patented Ecor Pro plug system.

Auto Power Reset: The dehumidifier features an auto power reset function. In case of power interruption, it can reset itself to the previous settings. Alternatively, with WiFi control enabled, the user receives a notification on their phone when power is interrupted.

Continuous Fan Option: Allow the circulation of air all the time.  Will however go into drying when needed set by the humidistat EPHUM-I-DRY provided.

Humidistat Included: The dehumidifier has a high temperature humidistat included.  Works up to 65°C / 150°F without fear of damage from the heat.  The EPHUM-I-DRY humidistat has bi-colour indication of status green and blue when in operation or stand by with a dimmable backlight to the Ecor Pro logo.

Installation Options: The dehumidifier is designed to be versatile in its installation. It has four plastic feet that can be swivelled out to provide anchor points for wall or ceiling mounting, even upside down.

IP24 Rating: The dehumidifier is rated IP24, indicating its resistance to splashes of water from various directions.

Compact Design: The dehumidifier is compact and stackable, with a carrying handle for easy portability. Its construction uses durable, all-metal materials, including a stainless marine-grade cover for longevity. See drawing here

Temperature Range: The dehumidifier operates effectively within a temperature range of -4°F/-20°C up to 104°F/40°C, making it suitable for continuous drying applications across a wide spectrum of temperatures.

WiFi Control and Monitoring Ready: Add a wifi EPHUM-I-MAX monitor and controller (not supplied)

Auto Rest: In the even of a power outage the unit will reset when no humidity controller is fitted.  The EPHUM-I-MAX will signal if there has been a power outage via a notification on your cell phone when connection made.

Serial Port: The RJ11 connection detects if a humidistat is present or not.  This also acts as a serial connection for cloud software interface (not supplied)

Fan Capacity: The dehumidifier has a continuous fan option with a clean dry air volume capacity of a single speed fan 224 CFM / 380m3/h, aiding in efficient air circulation. 56dB

Filter: The unit comes with a reticulated 10 PPI easy-to-clean dust filter to maintain air quality and prevent the buildup of debris.  Filters should be cleaned every 90 days.   Replacement pack of three filters EPFILPACK4.  Other filters can be added such as the EPCARFIL30 filter that filters odors also. Both not included.

Continuous Fan Option: Can work continuously circulating the air.  Ideal if unit is ducted so sensor can be placed inside the inlet duct making the unit easy to conceal if needed when installed.  (Care must be taken to externalise the filter on the process air inlet grill if installed for ease of cleaning the filter.)

Exhaust Duct: Industrial grade exhaust duct included 1m / 3′ flexduct.

Exhaust Wet Air 75m3/h / 44cfm
Dry Air volume 380m3/h / 224 cfm.
Process Air volume 455m3/h / 268 cfm

Power Cord: Very fast replacement of power cord for use in different markets, connection to generators or replacement if damaged with Ecor Pro patented design.  15’/5m cord lengths.

OPTIONAL DUCTING (Not Included)

Additional Accessories: Addional flange sets can be added to the input air flow on the unit.  This flange gives the ability for 125mm/5″ or 90mm/3″ tubular ducting to be added to the dehumidifier to duct in wet air and dut out dry air.   EPDF125 125mm/3.5″ ducting flange or EPDF90 90mm/3″

How to set up a drying tent

Dehumidifier Installation

This is a 3-Hole dehumidifier meaning that there is one  fan inside.  Part of the dried process air is turned around, heated and used to purge the internal adsorption wheel of moisture that can be then vented away.

Moisture is "vented away".  No water is produced.  The moist air is vented to the outside or moved to another area that is ventilated. Most common installation.

Focussing the dry air gives faster drying times.  Example of "Positive Pressure" or forcing the dry air into areas it is needed
Recirculating the air to be dried gives a compound effect and gives faster drying.  This system is a "Negative Pressure" system.   Air has to replace the air that has been exhausted with the wet air.

15% of the air that is processed is expelled as wet air.  This air needs to be replaced.  Air from outside the room may be more humid.  This is averted with a larger model.

Having the machine in the area being dried and recirculating the air is the most efficient way of drying.  This system is "Negative Pressure. In a small enclosure, covered with plastic sheeting a frame is needed to ensure the tent maintains structure.  Rooms generally are not air tight so in larger rooms air can leak under doors etc

3-hole systems have one advantage over 4-Hole systems.  Around 60 Watts of energy will be retained in the process air flow with a 4-Hole system.  Normally this is not a problem (Same energy as an old home light bulb) but if it is a variable air valve may be added to balance the system with regen air.

This assumes that the air from any variable inlet (variable in order to find balance of air flow) is colder than the air inside the room being dried.   Typical applications will include  buildings where heat generated by people is not covered fully by any air conditioning.
